the ginger squirrels!

So, yesterday I went to see Fred: The Movie at the cinema, and to be honest, it wasn't the best film I've ever seen in my life. If you were over the age of sixteen, you really shouldn't see it. You'd hate it, let's be honest. It's more one for the kids. But saying that, Fred is freaking hot!
Anyway, more to the point, if you've ever seen the Fred episode 'Rescuing the neighbourhood squirrels' on YouTube, you will have seen these gorgeous little ginger-haired dogs, and the breed is what they call 'Pomeranian'. Yes, these are in fact small dogs, but Fred seems to think they are squirrels, which I suppose adds comic effect. But anyway, if you're a dog lover you need to have a look at these because they are gorgeous! And i want one soooo bad! So, if you haven't got one of your own, here are a few photographs to admire instead, without doing all the hard work like cleaning up poop!

Here is the beautiful Paloma Faith with her cover of The Beatles' 'You Never Give Me Your Money'.

I first stumbled across this magnificent cover when I went to see the lovely Paloma live at the O2 Academy in town, and i'm a massive fan of The Beatles (isn't everyone?), but I still listened to this and thought it was stunningly amazing. She can do anything, she can. And her voice is so pure, so powerful, yet so unique and inspiring. I love this girl. Just take a watch, you'll love it too, just as much as I do!

Leopard Print Fur Coat.

Now, I've seen this coat in Topshop, and it's now in the sale for £70. And to be quite honest with you, I think it's bloomin' beautiful. Fur may not be your thing, and leopard print may make you think more Bette Lynch than Kim Catrall, but just give this coat a chance yes? I think it's gorgeous, and can make any shabby, boring old outfit to look stunningly amazing, like you're on the way to Cinderella's ball. 

Life As We Know It.

Hello there fellow bloggers. On monday night I went to the odeon cinema in town (Sheffield) with two of my 'newer' friends, Harriett and Ellie. We wanted to see the new Zac Efron film, as i'm sure you'll agree that he is quite a good looking lad. But unfortunately it wasn't on, so we asked the guy at the counter (Jon - his name tag said) about the various other films that were on, and decided to see new rom-com 'Life As We Know It', starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Dunhamel (he's married to Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas!).
I must admit, it really wasn't as good as I expected it to be, but did it turn out to be funnier, but that was probably because I was with two hilarious girls, who laughed at everything and made quite a few 'innuendos'. All in all, it was an alright film if you like romantic comedies, and if you don't mind knowing what's going to happen next, because it was definitely the type of film that you can just tell what was going to happen next. Like, it was so obvious that the couple that were looking after their goddaughter (as the parents of the child died in a car crash) were going to end up together in the end, even though they claimed to despise and hate each other most of the way through.
But, there was a young girl in it (her character name was Amy, but her real name is Britt Flatmo) that did make us laugh quite a lot. For instance, Katherine Heigl walked into the room dressed up, ready to go out on the town, and Amy says 'You look pretty', to which Katherine replies 'Thanks', and then Amy says 'Oh. My God' and has a look of horror on her face for no apparent reason! Random or what?! Also, later on in this scene Katherine and Josh Dunhamel are standing by the door and Amy says to them both 'You two make a cute couple!", and she then suddenly and rapidly turns around and scarpers off.
Honestly, it was worth seeing the film for her random moments. I did enjoy the film, but it is not the best romantic comedy I have ever seen. Nowhere near as up there as 'Valentine's Day'. Now that was a romantic comedy! If I were you, I wouldn't waste £8 on it, or if you're a 'teen' £5.20 (yes, it has gone up again! fml.) then wait until it comes out on DVD and get it from Ecclesall Library for £2 to rent for a week. That's what i'd do.. except it's too late. Oh well...
